Made of knitted polyester fabric, our Waterproof Mattress Encasement provides you with the perfect blend of protection with peaceful sleep. The synthetic polyester material is extra thick to ensure complete bed bug protection. It has bite proof and escapes proof qualities that you are looking for so that bed bugs cannot bite through the mattress.
Moreover, the knitted polyester fabric is adequately stretchable for easy installation and fitting, giving you a comfortable feel while you sleep calmly.
Waterproof Barrier
Our mattress encasement features impermeable TPU backing that provides protection on all 6 sides of the mattress. This makes it ideals for most situations such as when you want to protect your mattress from perspiration stains or from other bodily fluids and incontinence. The TPU backing (polyurethane membrane) is not only waterproof but also breathable. This allows heat and moisture to breathe through while blocking off stains, liquids, and other bacterias from bed mattress.

Zippered Bed Bug Proof Encasement
Our zippered mattress encasement completely encloses the mattress, acting like a protective layer over the top, bottom, and sides of the mattress. It is designed this way to trap and act as a barrier against bed bugs inside mattress cutting their primary survival source that is blood. Once the mattress is encased, other bed bugs hiding in bed rails, carpets, luggage or other items may not be able to enter the mattress. These tiny, brownish pests are more visible and easier to catch outside the encasement than if they are on a bed sheet.

Care instructions
Hand wash or machine wash separately in cool to warm water, using a mild detergent (free from any bleach). Make sure your mattress protector is unzipped with waterproof backing facing in.
Please do not use any solvents or bleach, bleach alternatives, non-chlorine bleach or any bleach by-products in the detergent, as this will damage the waterproof backing. Avoid using harsh chemical as it reduces the absorbency of the material.
Tumble dry on a low heat with bed sheets or other clothing or air dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.

It works just as advertised. We had a bedbug infestation that seriously had me damn near screaming. I had bought one earlier, than bought this one, put them on the mattress and box springs, did everything I could possibly do to erradicate them pests, found a couple trying to hide under the zipper overlaps, destroyed them, and haven't seen any since. If the show up again, the covers will make it easy to spot them, and they won't be able to hide inside either the mattress or box springs anymore.

This soft mattress cover does not have that plasticy feel that most waterproof covers have. In fact my five year old has slept on top of this as though it were a fitted sheet on more than one occasion. Be aware it completely surrounds and zip covers the mattress, so you will need some strength to get this on if you have a heavy mattress like mine

I purchase mattress covers for each new mattress we purchase. This is probably the nicest we've baught . Easy to slide on . Comfortable. Not noisy at all . I can't vouch for it being waterproof or not ..that's not something important to us . The one thing I'd say is a CON...it is a little loose . We have a thick mattress /pillow top. It would give you room for aNY extra padding you'd like tho. I'd definitely purchase again.
