Great for classrooms.
The location is a beautiful hardwood forest nestled in a quiet little town (population 500).
Our land is sandwiched between two large hunting leases. It’s really a lovely spot. Before we moved here the property was vacant for nearly 60 years. We have 3 creeks that pass through our property and we drink from one of them which comes from a spring. (after filtering of course) The land is truly beautiful and we respect it. That said are careful about how we harvest, allowing the forest to replenish itself by selectively harvesting small areas.
The forest is filled with sweetgum, magnolia, black cherry, walnut, pecan, oak, dogwood, huckleberry, pine, sassafras and so on.
About the seller - 37 year old gardener who still claims to know little about plants after building two successful urban food forests and many other garden contributions. His bit of garden advice. "Just build one. Just do it. Consistent effort over time pays off. Fail, learn, grow. Study what others are doing. If you hurt the earth you hurt yourself, so don't poison the earth and do things that harm it. Treat it like a friend and it will bring many smiles.
Blessings friends.
