    Description

    ITEM:
Coarse Sand For Succulent, Bonsai Tree & Carnivorous Plant Soil Mix
    - 1 Quart. = 4 cups = 0.25 Gal.
    - Horticultural grade coarse size #12.
    - 100% natural earth sand. - Neutral Ph level.
    - Sand also helps keep warmth of the medium, aiding the rooting process.
    - Due to its rough shape and size, it is an ideal matter for Bonsai that does not require much  growth.
MAKING YOUR OWN BONSAI SOIL MIX:
    - Conifers require more sand and less soil and mulch.
    - For young stage Bonsai or unhealthy tree, the mix should be coarse.
    - Deciduous trees and broad-leaf evergreens require more soil and mulch.
    - When Bonsai does not required much growth, use smaller size sand and less mulch.
    - For potting purposes, use chopsticks to tease apart roots and drive fresh soil  around newly  pruned roots, this step also helps eliminate air pockets in the  medium.
    SHIPPING:
Silica Sand will be sent in a USPS priority mail small flat rate box or envelop.
Soil's mix shipment cost cannot be combined with other items.
